Purpose: The purpose of this lab was to see if the toast lands jelly side up or down.
¸ñÀû: ÀÌ ½ÇÇèÀÇ ¸ñÀûÀº ½Ä»§¿¡ ÀëÀ» ¹ß¶ó ¶³¾î¶ß·ÈÀ» ¶§ ÀëÀ» ¹Ù¸¥ÂÊÀÌ À§·Î ÇâÇÏ°Ô ¶³¾îÁö´Â°¡ ¾Æ´Ï¸é ¾Æ·¡ÂÊÀ¸·Î ÇâÇÏ°Ô ¶³¾îÁö´Â°¡¸¦ ¾Ë¾Æº¸´Â °ÍÀÌ¿´´Ù.
Hypothesis: If you put less jelly, then it will land jelly side up.

Procedure:
½ÇÇè¹æ¹ý ¹× ¼ø¼:
1. Tape down trash bag.

2. Take spoon and scoop jelly.
¼ù°¡¶ôÀ¸·Î ÀëÀ» ¶á´Ù.
3. Apply jelly on toast.
½Ä»§¿¡ ÀëÀ» ¹Ù¸¥´Ù.
4. Drop it jelly side up from a meter high.

5. Drop it jelly side down from a meter high.

6. Put more remaining jelly on toast.

Conclusion:

I had an experiment called Jelly Toast Lab Activity. I drop a piece of toast that had jelly on, or a bagel that had cream cheese on often. However, I had never notice, and I didnt care what side did jellied toast usually land on when I dropped. That became my motivation to be excited about having this lab.
The purpose of this lab was to see if the toast lands jelly side up or down. I thought that if you put less jelly, then it would land jelly side up. The reason was that you are putting the jelly on only one side of the toast, so one side will heavier than the other. Therefore I thought how much jelly you put would affect the result. To prove if my hypothesis was right, I began the experiment.
First, I used the trash bag to tape it down to prevent from jellies to touch on the floor. Then I scooped the jelly and apply it on the toast by using spoon. I held the meter stick to make sure the toast would drop from a meter high, and dropped it jelly side up. I did it for five times, and the results of all the five trials were same; it landed jelly side up. As I dropped it jelly side up, I dropped it again for five times jelly side down. I dropped it from jelly side down, so did it landed jelly side down. I recorded the observations, and went on next step. I put more of those remaining jelly on the toast and did exactly same thing before. I dropped it five times from jelly side up, and down. And I got the results; it landed on jelly side up whenever I dropped it jelly side up, and it landed on jelly side down whenever I dropped it jelly side down.
Thus, I knew my hypothesis was wrong. I thought it was depends on how much jelly you put. However, I found out that it is depends on what side of a toast you have dropped. When you dropped it jelly side up, then it will land on jelly side up. I think it is a matter of course, because the sides of a toast are flat. Therefore, it isnt going to able to be flipping the sides as it lands.
With this simple experiment, I learned many things. I had to look carefully what side the toast would land during the lab, which I have never, think or notice it in my ordinary life. That affected me to watch the things that are near by scientifically.
